Piper is in a controlled launch.
Accounts are created by invitation, one organisation at a time, so that we can sit with each one and find out whether the thing is actually useful before widening it. There is no self-serve signup, and that is on purpose.
Write to us
Tell us who you are, the disease or gene you work on, and — most usefully — the decision you are trying to make. That last part tells us in one line whether the substrate can help you yet, and we would rather say no than waste your time.
focena@focena.aiPlease do not include patient-identifying information. In an ultra-rare disease a variant combined with a few other details can identify a person on its own — send only what a colleague could read over your shoulder.

Who this is for, and who it is not

What to expect
If we say yes
- A conversation first. We want to understand the decision you are facing, and to be straight with you about whether coverage of your disease is deep enough to be worth your attention.
- An account for your organisation. Your workspace is separate from every other organisation’s. Anything you put in stays yours.
- The disclaimers, up front. Before reaching any surface you will be asked to read and accept what this is and is not — a research aid, never medical advice, with most content provisional. We would rather lose you at that step than after you have relied on something.
By using the service you agree to our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.
Research aid only — not medical advice. Piper is a research and educational aid. It is not medical advice, not a diagnosis, and not a clinical determination. Its output is hypothesis-generating and may be incomplete, provisional, or wrong, including AI-generated errors. Always consult your own qualified healthcare professional before making any medical or treatment decision.
